06/22/2010 - St. Paul, MN (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Minnesota Wild signed forward Brad Staubitz to a two-year contract on Tuesday, one day after acquiring the rights to the restricted free agent in a trade with San Jose.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Minnesota sent a 2010 fifth-round draft pick to San Jose in exchange for Staubitz, who notched three goals and three assists with 110 penalty minutes in 47 games for the Sharks last season.
In 82 career games, all with the Sharks, the rugged 25-year-old winger has four goals and five assists with 186 penalty minutes.
