Northern Iowa adds trio of coaches

NCAA Football Betting Lines

06/22/2010 - Cedar Falls, IA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - University of Northern Iowa head football coach Mark Farley has added three assistant coaches for the 2010 season.

Matt Entz worked with the team during spring practices and will be the defensive line coach. Most recently, he served as the defensive coordinator at Winona State (Minn.) University and was named the American Football Coaches Association's Division II Assistant Coach of the Year in 2008.

Dan Clark, a former graduate assistant coach at the University of Iowa, will be added as a defensive coach. Eric Sanders, a former UNI quarterback who was a graduate assistant coach at Syracuse the last two seasons, will be an offensive assistant.

All three coaches are native Iowans.

The Panthers, who finished with a 7-4 record in 2009, will open their season Sept. 11 against North Dakota State.
